郑新业，教授、博士生导师，研究方向为能源和碳经济、产业与数字经济、全球化与全球政策协同。现任中国人民大学应用经济学院院长、“中华人民共和国脱贫攻坚史”负责人。郑新业教授入选国家“万人计划”哲学社会科学领军人才、中宣部文化名家暨“四个一批”人才，享受国务院政府特殊津贴。兼任中国人民大学中国乡村振兴研究员特聘研究员，财政部财政风险研究专家工作室执行牵头人、南方电网专家委员会委员等。出版英文专著一部，中文著作八部，在《中国社会科学》、《经济研究》、Nature Energy等国内外著名期刊上发表论文60余篇；主持多项国家自然科学基金和国家发改委、财政部、生态环境保护部及国家能源局等机构的重要课题，就能源体制改革、生态环境保护等给政府机关部门、亚洲开发银行（ADB）等国际机构以及国内外的企业提供专业意见；在一系列国际研讨会上作主题演讲，如“一带一路”国际合作高峰论坛领导人圆桌峰会，中宣部、财政部和国务院扶贫办联合举办的“改革开放与中国扶贫国际论坛”，国际货币基金组织（IMF）和世界银行（WB）举办的“关于发展经济学预测问题论坛”，Harvard Global Institute 绿色发展会议，澳大利亚墨尔本大学“关于亚洲能源发展与管理年会”等；还为《人民日报》、《光明日报》、《经济日报》等新闻媒体撰写评论文章，多次接受中央电视台新闻联播、焦点访谈、CCTV 英文频道等媒体的采访或报道。
Professor Xinye Zheng joined Renmin University of China in 2006 after receiving his Ph. D. in Economics at Georgia State University. He is currently the Dean of the School of Applied Economics, Renmin University of China, and the director of the program “History of Poverty Alleviation in the People's Republic of China". Professor Zheng’s research interests are Energy Economics, Carbon Economics, Industrial Economics, Digital Economics, Globalization and Global Policy Synergy. He has published peer-reviewed papers in journals such as Nature Energy, Energy Economics, China Economic Review, Environmental and Development Economics, Energy Policy, Regional Environmental Change.
He has received numerous grants and awards, from government agencies such as National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Finance, and has advised numerous corporations, governmental organizations, and international institutions such as the Asian Development Bank. He has delivered keynote speeches at multiple international conferences, such as the Belt and Road International Cooperation Summit, the Forum on Development Economics Forecasting organized by IMF and the World Bank, the Green Development Conference at the Harvard Global Institute, the Annual Conference on Energy Development and Management in Asia organized by the University of Melbourne, and the International Forum on Reform, Opening-up and Poverty Alleviation in China. He often serves as a panelist in CCTV to discuss important energy and fiscal issues. He also contributes columns regularly to national newspapers.
