中新互联互通项目启动以来，新加坡与重庆不断深化双方在航空产业上的合作：搭建渝新快线，保障双方的密切互联；建设中新航空产业园，打造航空产业集群，启动培养民航专业人才的“百人计划”，促进重庆民航与国际先进水平对标；加快重庆江北国际机场建设提档升级，不断推进内陆国际枢纽建设。

Since the launch of the CCI, Singapore and Chongqing have been forming closer cooperation in aviation: starting new routes between Chongqing and Singapore to enhance connectivity; setting up a China-Singapore aviation industrial park to form an aerospace cluster while launching the Hundred Talent Program to train civil aviation talent, with the aim of helping Chongqing meet international standards for civil aviation; and updating the Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport to create a global hub for this landlocked area.

    保障空中通道互联互通 为中新深层次贸易及人文交流构建坚实基础
    Ensure air connectivity to lay the foundations of China-Singapore trade and cultural exchanges.

    从中新互联互通项目启动初期开始，项目就建立了“渝新快线”空中通道，不断优化重庆和新加坡空中通道航班时刻。航班数量从每周5班增至14班，一度达到17班，旅客年吞吐量增至19万人。2020年，在全球新型冠状病毒疫情防控形势下，中新双方积极保持航空畅通，新加坡胜安航空每周提供1班客运服务，中国四川航空公司提供每周1班全货运服务。
    Since the start of the CCI, new routes between Chongqing and Singapore have been created to optimize flight schedules. Airlines are increasing weekly flights from 5 to 14, sometimes even 17, handling up to 190,000 passengers in a year. In 2020, due to the impact of COVID-19, the two countries are working on air connectivity, in which Singapore’s SilkAir operates a single weekly service for passengers and Sichuan Airlines offers a single cargo flight per week.

    启动航空人才培养“百人计划” 促进重庆民航达到国际先进水平
    Launch the Hundred Talent Program to train aviation talent to help Chongqing meet international standards for civil aviation

    中新机场加强合作，高效启动航空人才培养“百人计划”，培养一批懂业务、善管理、精运行的国际化人才，提升重庆航空业管理水平。目前已先期择优选拔50名优秀人才完成培训。
    The increased cooperation between China and Singapore airports leads to the launch of the Hundred Talent Program to train aviation talent with skills in management to improve Chongqing’s airline operations. At the moment, 50 candidates have completed the training session.

    建立一站式航空维修产业格局 促进重庆国际航空枢纽建设
    Establish the one-stop aircraft maintenance industry to transform Chongqing into an international aviation hub

    重庆临空经济示范区开发建设有限公司成立，聚焦航空维修、物流、培训、租赁等产业，顺利推进中新航空产业园建设。重庆临空产业集群驶上快车道。
    重庆机场正与新加坡科技宇航公司就飞机维修合资项目谈判，拟共同成立合资公司，整合江北机场维修资源和市场，搭建一站式航空维修产业格局，推动重庆维修航空产业转型升级，为在江北机场运营的航空公司提供完善的专业第三方飞机维修服务，促进重庆国际航空枢纽建设。
    Chongqing Linkong Economic Demonstration Zone Development and Construction Co., Ltd., as part of the China-Singapore aviation industrial park, was set up to cover aircraft maintenance, logistics, training, renting and other sectors. This accelerates the progress of developing Linkong’s industrial cluster.
    The details of a joint venture to operate aircraft maintenance are still under negotiation between Chongqing airports and Singapore Technologies Aerospace. The two companies are expected to establish a joint venture to organize the resources from the Jiangbei Airport and offer one-stop maintenance services to help upgrade Chongqing’s aircraft maintenance industry. They are set to transform the city into an international aviation hub by providing full maintenance services from a third party for the airlines operating at the Jiangbei airport.
